Youth Programs

Community Build, Inc. Health Program targets youth to provide health education and direct services to the Vermont Manchester Community. To better serve the community, Community Build provides clinics and medical centers with free mobile health services to residents. Besides direct services, the program educates youth and young adults in the health career field to increase their options for employment and careers. Over 400 families have utilized the services provided by the mobile Clinics within the community. Additionally, CBI operates an "Anti-Tobacco Campaign" and workshops. The focus of this program is to increase community awareness about advertising that promotes tobacco use and, to empower youth to become advocates and leaders to promote positive and healthy Lifestyles.

Health Partnership include:

Planned Parenthood of Los Angeles provides free family planning services along with STD, Cervical and Breast Cancer screenings.
Hubert Humphrey Medical Center provides a wide array of services for children and adults including Vaccinations, Blood Pressure exams, Lead poison testing, TB, and more.
South Central Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Program is an on site Teen Clinic, which provides free family planning, counseling and education services.
Free assistance with applications for Healthy Children and Healthy Families, a low or no cost publicly sponsored health insurance program.
